Report a Lost/Stolen/Found/Recovered Firearm

目的：

• 如果持证人丢失枪支或枪支被盗，则有责任在发现枪支被盗后 72 小时内填写报告。不遵守此规定可能会导致刑事指控，包括吊销所有执照。
  
  如果枪支丢失/被盗，但在丢失/被盗后不久又被发现/找回，持证人仍有责任报告丢失/被盗情况，因为枪支可能已被未经授权的一方用于犯罪。如果不报告枪支被盗/丢失情况，持枪人可能会被怀疑是所犯罪行的从犯。
  
  当枪支在报失/被盗后被发现/归还时，持枪人应使用本主题中的格式通知当局枪支现在又归其所有。
  
  格式中的每个字段都是必填字段。应在叙述中详细说明情况。如果枪支许可证部门的成员对任何字段不清楚，将召集报告方进行面谈。

• Applicants wishing to report their firearm(s) as lost and/or stolen will be required to submit the following form to the Firearms Licensing Division (( Post a new topic in this sub-forum: ))
  
  Firearm serials MUST be included in your report. If you do not know a serial, file a serial request HERE and amend your report as soon as possible. Failing to properly identify a firearm's serial will result in the report being REMOVED and considered NULL.
